The Approach

“Big academies run volume — thirty kids, six courts, feed and drill. I run depth — every player, every pattern, every detail understood.”

Aditya Singh

Head Coach · Former 12 UTR · 9+ Years Elite Instruction

Most coaching stops at ‘hit through the ball.’ We go deeper — into how force is created and transferred. Footwork puts you in position, the ground starts the chain, and the legs, hips, trunk, and arm have to work together into contact. We minimize energy leakage so you can hit a heavier ball without giving away spin or control.

Spin is not just about brushing more. Excessive brushing can rob the shot of compression and force players to slow the swing down to keep the ball in. We train players to understand where and how to contact the ball so they can drive through it, compress it, and still produce the spin needed to control the shot.

Every session is diagnostic. Film, match patterns, biomechanics, movement, and pressure responses help us identify what actually matters — then we train the changes that will move the game forward.

“Every detail has a reason.
Every rep should have one.

I have been working with coach Aditya for the last 4-5 years. We implement a lot of live ball drilling into our practices to focus on both the technical and tactical part of the game. These sessions would help improve shot selection, awareness of the game, and overall point construction during matches. Over time, these sessions have built a structured shot tolerance in my game which helps me understand my strengths to use in match play.

We started working together in 2021, right before my college tennis recruitment process. Our sessions usually lasted two hours and were tailored to my specific playing style, with a heavy focus on point play that improved my stamina, consistency, and competitiveness. The constant match play helped me feel much more prepared heading into college tennis, and I grew a lot from the fast pace and continuous feedback. During that period, my UTR increased to approximately 10.39.

Training with Aditya throughout high school made a big difference in my game. Our sessions were always high intensity, and he consistently brought full effort, gave useful feedback, and was willing to work on whatever I needed. All those reps together definitely helped me get to where I am now, playing #1 in Pomona-Pitzer's lineup.

I trained with Aditya during some of my formative tennis years and felt like it really improved my tennis both strategically and technically. Whenever I was struggling with some aspect of my tennis, he would always offer advice that would immediately help. Under training with him, I definitely improved exponentially and I would definitely recommend him as a hitting partner, coach, and mentor for any level of training!

Training with Coach Aditya has helped me so much. Before working with him, I felt stuck in a slump and wasn't able to improve my game. I practiced every day, but I didn't really have direction or clear goals, which made me feel lost. When I met Coach Aditya, that completely changed. He helped formulate a clear plan for how I could improve and gave me a structured direction with specific steps to follow. Because of that, I started training with much more purpose and intention. Every session with him felt productive, and I was learning things that actually applied to my game. His instructions were always clear and easy to understand. The adjustments he suggested weren't necessarily huge changes, but the small details he pointed out made a huge difference. I like how a lot of his classes were extremely dynamic and active — unlike some other coaches who stand in place and feed the ball, Coach Aditya focuses on creating drills that simulate real match situations. Personally, I also gained a lot of confidence through working with him. In terms of results, my UTR improved from 7.7 to 9.15, and I committed to play Division III tennis at MIT, which has always been my dream school.

National Rank #1 (NTRP 4.0) · Career-high UTR 7.62

I started working with Aditya in December 2023, when my UTR was around 6.2. In the more than two years since, Aditya has helped transform every major part of my game. In 2025, I became the No. 1 ranked tournament player in the USTA NorCal 4.0 NTRP category, and my UTR reached a career-high 7.62. Beyond the results, Aditya has given me a deep understanding of tennis and a great deal of wisdom about the game.
